1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Imposter Hunt ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Imposter Hunt is a social deduction party game designed for local, in-person play on a single device. The App:

• Is played by passing a single device between players
• Works completely offline without internet connection
• Does not require user accounts or registration
• Does not collect or transmit personal data
• Is intended for entertainment purposes only

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without permission
• Transfer your license to anyone else

4. In-App Purchases

Imposter Hunt offers optional Pro Mode upgrades:

• Lifetime Pro: $9.99 one-time purchase for permanent access
• Monthly Pro: $0.99 per month subscription

4.1 Payment Processing

All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly handle any payment information.

4.2 Subscriptions

Monthly Pro subscriptions:

• Automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Can be managed in your App Store or Google Play account settings
• Will be charged to your account upon confirmation of purchase

4.3 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to their respective refund policies. We do not directly process refunds.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to:

• Game design and mechanics
• Graphics, images, and animations
• Text, word lists, and categories
• Sound effects and music
• Software code and architecture

is owned by Imposter Hunt and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Play in a manner that is respectful to other players
• Not use the App to harass, bully, or harm others
• Take responsibility for the physical device during gameplay
• Supervise minors who use the App

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Imposter Hunt and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or data
• Device damage
• Personal injury during gameplay
• Disputes between players

9. Age Requirements

The App is designed for players of all ages. However:

• Children under 13 should use the App under adult supervision
• Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring children's use
• In-app purchases require appropriate authorization

10. Updates and Changes

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
